Virgin America and Korean Air (KE) have announced an interline agreement for travel on both carrier networks across North American, Asian and South American routes. From Seoul Inchon, KE passengers will be able to connect at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), San Francisco International Airport(SFO), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) to several other Virgin America destinations.

Air Malta will launch weekly charter flights to and from Birmingham beginning May 1 until the end of October.

Avianca and Taca have signed a codeshare agreement with Aeromexico under which they will "explore opportunities that will allow the airlines to supplement their network of routes." The airlines are now working on final details; the codeshare operation between Avianca and Aeromexico is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2012. The codeshare between Taca and Aeromexico is scheduled to begin during the second half of the year.

Alaska Airlines will launch daily Seattle-Kansas City service March 12.

Aegean Airlines launched 4X-weekly Athens-Budapest A320 service March 9.

Porter Airlines will increase 3X-daily Toronto City-Washington Dulles service (beginning April 16) to 4X-daily May 14.

ANA will increase Osaka Kansai service to Hangzhou (3X-weekly) and Qingdao (4X-weekly) to daily, March 25.

Eastern Airways will launch 6X-weekly Southampton-Brussels service April 16.

Mokulele Airlines will launch daily Lana'i-Maui service (2X-daily Maui-Lana'i) April 15.

Alaska Airlines increased weekly service to Lihue from Oakland and San Jose to daily March 11.

United Airlines will launch daily San Francisco-Washington National service May 14.

Nordavia launched 4X-weekly Usinsk–Moscow Sheremetyevo 737-500 service.

Iceland Express and HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines signed an Agreement on Cooperation to provide Reykjavík service "to a series of European destinations." The Agreement "will start to apply" in the spring of 2013. HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines will operate flights for Iceland Express with Airbus A320s.
