Cash for Clunkers program, by offering a “community upgrade” that gives people who are unhappy with their current health clubs a 20 percent discount off their first year’s membership at the JCC. During the JCC’s community upgrade program, which began Sept. 1 and runs through Oct. 15, people must show their membership card from other clubs at the JCC office to earn the discount.
