Texas Senate Passes P.E. Bill
AUSTIN, TX -- The Texas Senate passed a bill last week that would
require all school districts in the state to have students in
kindergarten through eighth grade participate in "moderate or vigorous"
daily physical activity each day for at least 30 minutes as part of the

Forbearance Deal With Lenders
CHICAGO -- Bally Total Fitness announced last week that it has
obtained a forbearance agreement from lenders under its $284 million
senior secured credit facility and that the company will not pay its
scheduled interest payment of about $15 million due Monday on its 9 7/8

Growth Rate on the Upswing
