Study Says
It's Never Too Late to Reduce Heart Disease Risk
CHARLESTON, SC -- The old saying "better late than never" really is
true when it comes to healthy lifestyle behaviors. People 45 to 64 years
old who added new healthy lifestyle behaviors could substantially reduce
their risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and reduce their death rate,
according to a study published in the July 2007 issue of The American

Dennis Lee and Tim Porth, the founders of Octane Fitness, won the Ernst &
Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 Award in the consumer products
category in the Minnesota and Dakotas region. The award recognizes
outstanding entrepreneurs who build and lead dynamic, growing
businesses. An independent panel of judges selects winners in several
categories. As region award winners, Lee and Porth will be considered
for an Ernst & Young national award. Winners will be announced at an
annual awards gala Nov. 17 in Palm Springs, CA.
The Honolulu Club named Beth Aylward as its new general manager, the
Pacific Business News reported. Aylward had been general manager
of Northern California's Club One properties, serving the Union Square,
Nob Hill, City Group and Oakland locations. The Honolulu Club is managed
by The Wellbridge Co., Denver.
