  • Snap Fitness founder and CEO Peter Taunton is holding the Partner with Peter contest to give away a Snap Fitness franchise. U.S. residents 21 and over can fill out an entry form now through Aug. 15 explaining why they want to own their own business.
  • Plus One Health Management Inc., New York, will be the design and development consultant for the wellness center at ExxonMobil's new 385-acre office campus in Houston. Plus One will be making recommendations regarding the facility's design as well as coordinating equipment procurement, delivery and installation for the facility.
  • RetroFitness, Colts Neck, NJ, announced last week that it will build 10 new facilities in New York's five boroughs. The clubs will open in the next six to 18 months and include on-site child care, juice bars and equipment with personalized LCD screens.
  • Sara Kooperman and SCW Fitness Education are hosting a free group fitness management seminar at Wellbridge Athletic Club and Spa in Town and Country, MO, on Thursday, June 30, and in several other cities throughout July.
