Crunch, New York, has announced the opening of its newest franchise location in Bonita, CA. This new location will be the third franchise to open in the greater San Diego area. "Since opening Crunch El Cajon in July 2011, the community has fully embraced the Crunch philosophy of 'No Judgments,'" franchise owner John Romeo said in a statement. Crunch Bonita will be located in the Plaza Bonita Mall and is set to open in July.
YogaWorks, Santa Monica, CA, announced it will open a new studio in Pasadena, CA, in the fall. The studio will offer two practice rooms varying in class schedule and yoga styles. Fitness classes, such as BarWorks and Pilates Mat, also will be offered. Membership will open to the public prior to the location's grand opening. |

ECORE International, Lancaster, PA, will donate equipment to the new Anytime Fitness health club in Bethany, OK. The company's interest in the facility was sparked after watching Anytime Fitness co-founders Chuck Runyon and Dave Mortensen give away a franchise on the TV show "Secret Millionaire" to two men who run a program to keep children off the streets. "The dedication and passion displayed by those in the community, as well as by Anytime Fitness, shines a spotlight on what it takes to make an impact," ECORE International Chairman and CEO Arthur Dodge III said in a statement.

This system includes a variety of equipment created for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. The machines, along with health programs and nutritional education, are designed to help increase children's involvement with fitness activities.
