What are the requirements you must follow when grounding information technology equipment, where signal reference structures are installed? - The signal reference structure(s) shall be bonded to an external ground ring with a maximum resistance-to-ground reading of 2 ohms.
- The signal reference structure(s) shall be bonded to any of the electrodes in the area of the information technology equipment (i.e., a structural metal member or metal water pipe system).
- The signal reference structure(s) shall be bonded to the equipment grounding conductor provided for the information technology equipment.
- There are no requirements for grounding or bonding in this situation.
