XTA on Broadway
Sound Associates, Inc., a provider of audio technology and sound design to the theater industry on Broadway, has been regularly using the XTA DS800 as a mic pre and as an audio splitter and distribution system. Bare, Annie Lennox's first self-penned release in a decade, prompted the vocalist to take the stage for her first solo tour. English monitor engineer Tim Paterson, onboard since the start of her solo tour last year, reveals that he introduced the singer to the Neumann KMS105 microphone and Sennheiser personal monitor system. Jimmy Buffet Hits a Home Run at Recent Fenway Concert
Escondido, Calif.-based rental sound company Sound Image deployed a JBL VerTec line array system for Jimmy Buffett's recent concerts, which took place at Boston's Fenway Park. Hoobastank's Reason Tour Uses Audio-Technica
Alt-rock quartet Hoobastank has used Audio-Technica mics to perform on stages throughout North America and Europe. Currently on The Reason tour, Hoobastank's lead vocalist Doug Robb is using the Audio-Technica Artist Elite(r) 5000 Series Wireless System with an AEW-T3300 capsule.
