LECTROSONICS DM SERIES DIGITAL AUDIO PROCESSORS
Lectrosonics announced the immediate availability of its DM Series digital audio processor systems with LecNet2 control software. The DM Series will be showcased at NSCA 2005 Expo (March 10-15, Orlando).The DM Series systems provide easily configurable processing, mixing and routing capabilities for sound reinforcement and conferencing applications. Aspect TA-880 Loudspeaker
Sennheiser Electronic Corporation, the U.S. distributor for Turbosound, is now shipping the Aspect TA-880H 3-way mid-high enclosure and complementary TA-880L low-frequency cabinet designed for ground-stacked touring and fixed installation applications. The TA-880 system uses Turbosound's patented Polyhorn(tm) design to enable seamless array setup, as well as very high SPL from small and manageable cabinets, fast and simple rigging, low weight and convenient truck pack. Symetrix SymNet Audio Matrix
Symetrix (NSCA booth #217) is introducing a line of modular, RS-485 based remote control wall panels for the SymNet Audio Matrix platform at NSCA 2005. The new hardware will be supported in SymNet Designer V. 5.5 for Windows. MARYLAND'S MUSIC CENTER AT STRATHMORE OPENS
The Music Center at Strathmore, a new 1,976-seat concert hall and education center offering performing arts in a state-of-the-art facility, officially opens its doors on February 5, 2005. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Music Center at Strathmore's resident symphony orchestra, led by Music Director Yuri Temirkanov, will perform the opening celebration concert for the Music Center that night, featuring internationally renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and sopranos Harolyn Blackwell and Janice Chandler-Eteme. Marin Theater Company Installs EV(r) SxA360, Plasma Powered Loudspeakers
Recently, the Marin Theater Company in Mill Valley (Calif.) underwent an install under the supervision of sound designer Norman Kern. Kern has also been part of projects at the Mill Valley and Walnut Creek theaters and has worked with artistic director Lee Sankowich, whose credits include director of the theatrical version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Taiwan's National Theater Gets Studer's Vista 8
Studer is supplying two digital Vista 8 digital audio production consoles to the leading cultural institutions of Taiwan, one each to the National Theater and National Concert Hall. The venues form part of the National Chiang Kai-shek Cultural Center, which was one of the largest arts centers in Asia when it was built in 1987. MORE

Palm Deserts's McCallum Theater Receives JBL Pro Vertec Boost
