netStudio Notes
Meet netStudio member Joe Magic
by Robb Scott, netStudio Support

Joe Magic is a New York City-based producer, remixer and musician. His work is heard everywhere from Billboard-charted songs and dance remixes to backing tracks for Las Vegas Illusionists like Jonathan David Bass and Darren Romeo (Joe is a professional grade magician himself - hence the "Magic" appellation).

Joe's been a supporter of the Rocket Network concept from the beginning. He's recently made the switch to Mix's netStudio, excited by the prospect of helping to break in new territory. Joe utilizes both public and private netStudio sessions. Public sessions are for "knocking heads" - meeting new pals and collaborators, and bouncing ideas around. Private sessions are used for commercial collaboration, often with remix partners. For instance, Joe will post MIDI tracks, allowing a client to audition a part with his or her choice of synth sounds.

For Joe, Mix's netStudio is both a place to jam with friends and a serious professional audio tool. "I think Rocket has the potential to bring musicians together from all parts of the globe to make some really great music and change the way music is created," he says. "I want to be a part of that change".

If you'd like to have your story told in this section, contact Robb Scott.
