Nordic Rentals A/S introduced the new Dolby Lake
Processor, used on the main stage P.A. system, at the recent Danmarks
Smukkeste Festival, Denmark's second-biggest outdoor concert event. Jens
Elsborg, technical director for Nordic Rentals, says, "J.P. Andersen,
the festival organizer, told me, 'It can be said quite simply that it

Audio-Technica has supported the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards

for its annual awards show. The 40th Annual CMA Awards aired live for
the first time in 5.1-channel surround on November 6, 2006, on the ABC
Television Network from Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center and

Tour
Hollywood's Hotel Cafe, which spotlights burgeoning singer-songwriters,
trekked across the U.S., visiting 35 cities between October 2, 2006, and
November 18, 2006. The bill included Columbia Recording artist Joshua
Radin, Jim Bianco, Cary Brothers (tour organizers), Joe Purdy, Matt
Costa, Jessie Baylin and Rachael Yamagata. Special guests included Jason

Harman Out With Primal Twang The world premiere of Primal
Twang, a theatrical music production that highlights the legacy of the
guitar, debuted at San Diego's North Park Theatre, September 7 to 10,

reinforcement system for the performance, which included the first U.S.
theatrical-industry deployment of JBL Professional's new VP (Venue
Performance) Series loudspeakers, as well as the first American use of

Productions has supplied a JBL VerTec system for the 2006 Nine Inch
Nails Live: With Teeth North American tour. Providing front-of-house

Imogen Heap Heard Through Turbosound Since her first
appearance at a Prince's Trust concert in 1996, Imogen Heap's
combination of electronica, alternative pop/rock and Euro-pop has gained
critical acclaim and a loyal fan base both from her days with the band
Frou Frou and as a solo artist. For her month-long tour of UK venues
during September and October, sound rental company ESS employed part of
its new Turbosound Aspect system to ensure that none of her musical
