TALKBACK
BE FEATURED IN MIX!
Attention, engineers: Mix is working on a feature on radical recording, and we want to hear from you! Our studio stories have covered the bizarre and unusual, from recording drummers whacking glass bottles instead of the kit (Bruce Swedien recording Michael Jackson) to dousing the vocal mic with lighter fluid and setting it on fire (Dave Sardy with Marilyn Manson), but we know there are plenty of "best kept secrets" out there...Send us your wildest recording technique! The most extreme (printable!) submissions will be featured in our February issue. E-mail mixeditorial@mixonline.com -- photos welcome!
