Vote for the Best!
Participate in the First Annual NAB Award for Innovation in Media and get a chance to win prizes! Each AIM will honor a ground-breaking product that displays a significant level of advancement by exceeding expectations for boosting efficiency, increasing user flexibility and/or lowering cost. You'll help choose the top five products in each of the following categories: Content Creation, Content Management and Content Delivery. Then, a panel of leading industry editors will review the winners in each area to select a product from each category for three additional Editors' Choice awards. Here's how to vote: Pick up a ballot at any of the AIM Ballot Centers, located throughout the convention center and on the exhibition floors. On your ballot, write in your choices, including product numbers if applicable, for any or all of the three product categories. Be sure to include your badge number and turn in your ballot by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8.

And we know by now how cool Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil are, but this week's Vegas concert lineup definitely offers something for everyone. Checking in early for booth setup this weekend and looking for something hip? Tower of Power is playing tonight and tomorrow night at The Orleans Hotel/Casino. Fall in love with Ratt all over again, tomorrow night at the House of Blues. Do you know the way to the Texas Station Casino? Dionne Warwick does, and she'll be there Saturday night. Knock three times if you'll meet me at the Tony Orlando show at the Suncoast Hotel/Casino through the 6th. And those sticking it out until NAB's bitter end can find a little release with Engelbert Humperdinck at the Las Vegas Hilton on the 8th. Visit www.vegas.com for the nightlife rundown.
