RME has extended its Hammerfall DSP Series with an I/O-Box. The RPM is a portable, turntable/CD/Mic/MIDI interface that can be used to connect two turntables or two line sources (CD, DVD, sampler etc.) and a microphone to any computer. With TotalMix, RME's audio mixer, the five inputs and up to 12 computer playback channels can be freely assigned to two separate stereo outputs and a dedicated headphone out. Kid Rock Guitar Benefits Children
West L.A. Music and Peter Tilden, a DJ on Los Angeles radio station KZLA, donated a guitar signed by Kid Rock to Hillsides, a nonprofit treatment center for children. The guitar was signed at KZLA's Country Bash, held at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif., on October 11, 2003. West L.A. Dancing Diablo Helps Animate 'Walkie Talkie Man'
Peter Sluszka, Dancing Diablo (Brooklyn) creative partner/director of animation, helped to create the stop-motion animation for "Walkie Talkie Man," the first U.S. single from Auckland, New Zealand-based melodic rock/hip hop act, Steriogram. The music video, from their debut Capitol Records album, Schmack!, is scheduled for release to MTV this month. The album will be available in stores nationwide on April 20, 2004. MORE
