RCMA Associate Members: Act Now to Receive Priority for RCMA 2011

Associate members, here is your opportunity to ensure booth space for the 2011 RCMA World Conference and Exposition, which will be held January 25-28 in Tampa. If you recruit or sponsor a new religious meeting planner into full RCMA membership by June 1, you will receive the early mailing of the Booth Space Contract for RCMA 2011. The early mailing will be sent out June 2. This is your chance to introduce religious meeting planners to all that RCMA has to offer while securing your spot for RCMA 2011.

The Convention Industry Council has launched what could be the most ambitious study ever on the economic impact of the meetings industry, sending out surveys April 1 to meeting planners at its 32 member organizations. Find out what the CIC hopes to accomplish with the survey.

2009: As Bad as It Gets for Exhibition Industry

The worst year for the exhibition industry in recent history—2009—ended with an overall decline of 12.5 percent, representing declines in attendance, number of exhibiting companies, net square footage of exhibit space booked, and revenues, according to the CEIR Index, published by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research.
